BRRRR! IT'S COLD!!

Since Andrew's inner clock is all jacked up he got up this morning at like 5 am. I however, am not that crazy. When I got up at 8 I asked him why the house was so cold. He said, "I don't know. It's cold outside too." I did some investigating and discovered that the furnace is not working! We tried following the instructions for resetting it, but no such luck, it will turn on but it just blows cold air. Unfortunately the furnace repair guys are so busy that the soonest someone can come out to fix it is tomorrow afternoon. I have decided that I am thankful today for the gas fireplace in the living room, otherwise I would not be here! When I asked Andrew if he thought to turn that on this morning his response was "oh, that thing works, I thought it was purely decorative." Silly guy. I have never been without heat that I can remember. Andrew was so cute, he didn't want to call the repair guys because he said, "that's so expensive, can't we just put on another pair of socks and a sweat shirt? It won't be that bad." I had to put my foot down on that one. I said, do you really want our puppy to freeze? That didn't work. I said, do you really want me to freeze? That didn't work. What worked was when he went to use the bathroom and the seat was as cold as ice! Not to use bathroom humor, but he said that was not going to work for him. Ladies, I have won this battle. The furnace will be fixed!
