Weekend Update

Pictures will follow when I have my computer up and going again...Thursday night we started the process of ripping out our hideous carpet in the living room and hallway. (At least I think it was hideous!) and we have been installing laminate wood floors in those areas. We are almost done, should be finished tonight:) We are going to do the kitchen/dining room as well, but we decided to do one area at a time. The kitchen/dining room should be easier because we don't have to rip out carpet and hunt for staples and nails all over the place! I am so in love with these floors!

Also, on Saturday some of my friends from my old ward in Portland threw me a baby shower. It was so much fun! I miss hanging out with all them and now half of them are moving since their time in school is close to being up:( Amy and Lindsey were the main force behind the planning and I am not sure who all helped out, but it was a blast--and Rosie the fruit pizza was scrumptious! We played the candy bar game, one of my favs (mostly because I love candy), and a game where we had a word on our backs and had to guess what it was. Okay, the game was fun, but what the heck with having my word be: baby bjorn?! And we were supposed to guess it exactly--ha! I had to have some serious help since I wouldn't have known that one on my own:) My friend will email me some pics and then I will post them. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it, it was so nice to see you all again and to celebrate baby Jonathan!
