Come on already!

I am beginning to think I am never going to get a break from this! Adrian was kind enough to bring home a cold that he shared with me and so now I am having a hard time breathing from both directions (baby in the lungs and no airflow in). Aside from that and being completely huge with a "turkey's done" belly button that popped out yesterday I am doing pretty well. Today was the day the verdict came down from the OB. Baby has dropped significantly lower, but I have not dilated any more still :( I know, I need to have more patience, but still, come on! As it stands I can still go into labor on my own, but that might not happen before the 31st. So unless things change (and my mom gets her wish of me having him on the 24th) then I will be checking into the hospital on Oct. 29th at 7p.m. to get the process started on being induced. My OB is concerned since I am not progressed very much as yet that there is a risk of a failed labor which would mean a c-section; however, it should be just fine. So fingers crossed everyone! I would love to go into labor tomorrow (just to make my mom happy of course), but if not then at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and baby's birthday will probably be Oct. 30th:)

You're almost there! This time next week you will be holding little baby Jonathan...and so will I! Can't wait!

Hey guess what?! I know how you feel: To be told that you might not be able to do labor yourself and that a C-section could be in the future, not fun. I chose to be induced at that point at well. I would much rather go through an induction then trying to recover from a c-section. Good luck!!

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed! Also, I think you should go spend an evening walking around Lloyd Center, that got my labor going -twice!

The belly button popping out is a good sign. It does mean the Turkey's done!!

I've been thinking of you . . . wondering if you are still waiting or in the hospital as we speak?!
