The Pumpkin Festival

A few weeks ago Andrew came home all excited about taking the boys to the pumpkin festival/patch whatever you want to call it. I told him given the fact I could be having the baby anytime he was welcome to plan it, but to not get the boys hopes up. As it turns out we were able to go this past Saturday. It was actually kind of fun. The only downside was the fact that we had to go when Andrew got home from drill so we didn't get there until just after 5 o'clock and like everything out here it shuts down at 6. Some things I wish were more like living in the city...anyways. My family had gone earlier in the day and my little sisters had already told the boys all about riding horses there and whatnot. Unfortunately, by the time we got around to that part they were loading up the horses and the petting zoo. Oh well, better luck next time. I blame them missing it on the simple fact that these boys love to pose for pictures and therefore spent too much time begging for us to take a picture of them doing this and that. I told them they could have any pumpkin they wanted as long as they could pick it up and carry it.

Teaching little ones how to milk a cow...what fun!

My 3 guys...what a cute bunch of flowers!

Proof I got my big old prego self out there...

Look, we are a cow stuck in a pipe...

On top of the world (or haystack...whichever!)

Luke hanging on for dear life...

Adrian's turn...

Pumpkin bowling

They each tried it, they decided it wasn't as fun as they thought it was going to be.

I knew we brought this guy along for a reason! Although they had to be able to carry their own Andrew got to be our pumpkin transporter and put those muscles to good use:)

The boys with the pumpkin spoils and then we were off on a hunt for a good cup of hot chocolate since it was cold out there!
