I can hardly believe this much time has passed! Today was Jonathan's 2 month check up. Jonathan weighs 13 lbs. and .25 oz. now and is 24 in. long with a 41cm dome. I knew he was getting bigger and heavier but sheesh! The Dr. says he is in the 81st percentile for weight, the 86th percentile for height and the 69th percentile for his head. Personally I think he has a nice head...not too big, just the right size! The Dr. was impressed at Jonny's head control and his "standing" as well as his babbling baby sounds, lots of goos and maas. Apparently he is advanced... I could have told you he was a genius, I mean, I am his mother;) jk. The worst part of today though was his shots...I thought I would be just fine with it, but he screamed worse than I have ever heard him scream before (even worse than in his car seat!) and he had huge tear drops. Poor kid. The Dr. suggested I nurse him to help him feel better and it took me 15 minutes to get him to calm down enough to eat. I wanted to cry for him when he got his shots, he was having such a good time, laughing and playing and then it was all over. He is still somewhat fussy this afternoon, but he will be fine. As a funny side-note I was holding him in his diaper at the pediatrician's office and I noticed that my son's legs are so chubby that he has no knees! I can see the lines where the knee cap should be, but it is all chub. I don't know what you call it, but it is like cankles at the knee! What a precious little chub.
Unfortunately, last night I spiked a fever again and I am dealing with round 2 of mastitis. Hopefully it doesn't get as bad this time...

Hopefully you remember me. I saw you on Erin Hill's blog. Congratulations on your new baby. You weren't even married yet when I left. Your baby is so cute. I am glad I saw your blog. Check mine out www.sandlmarshall.blogspot.com
Happy New Year,

Oh, I always hated those shot appointments! Hopefully you will both be feeling better quick!
Mastitis AGAIN??!! I'm so sorry...you poor thing!
Those shots are the worst. Good thing he is so little and won't remember a thing :)
Ah mastitis...don't you just love it. You're about right on track with when I kept having mine. And did you just call your son Jonny - I thought that you were totally against calling him that...did Andrew actually win? Anyway, glad that he's growing big and healthy!
