All I know is we better start saving for braces now, because at the rate this little thumb-sucker is going he is going to be an orthodontist's meal ticket! He has always sucked on his knuckles, but as of Monday he has really figured out how to get just the thumb in there and then he just goes to town on that bad boy! I know it is cute...but I hope he isn't still doing it when he is in middle school...lol!

Both of mine have been thumb-suckers and I have loved it! A positive...they tend to be better sleepers! They can soothe themselves back to sleep if they wake up at night. Just relax and enjoy...he won't be doing it forever :)
I hate to admit this but I sucked my thumb until I was 8. I never had braces and my teeth actualy turned out alright. Just remember that the perm teeth are the important ones. Not so much the "practice" teeth. ;o)
I think that it is cute. And look and the bright side, at least he is not picking his nose...yet.

I caught Aphia randomly sucking her thumb a couple of days ago. When she was younger she did it off and on but never steadily. My sister and I were thumb suckers too! Jonathan is sure getting big.
I would agree about the braces, but I have always thought it was so cute when babies suck their thumbs! Congratulations by the way he is a handsome little guy!
How adorable is that - Seth did not need braces and he sucked his thumb forever - it definately is easier because he'll always have his thumb!
