I just realized that a lot has been going on since I last posted and some big changes around the Stott house too! We are now a dog-free home...but, I should start back at the beginning:)
On Friday a lady from a neighboring town came to meet our dog Reese and see if he would "fit in" with their family. She said she would give me a call and they might come by and get him on Easter. I said sure, thinking that was her nice way of saying Reese was too crazy for her! On Saturday we went to the mEGGa hunt up at the county fairgrounds...it was a lot of fun and I think it will become our new tradition. I crazily agreed to host Easter dinner at our house and Adrian passed off a "Faith in God" requirement by helping to "plan and prepare a nutritious meal." In the middle of prepping dinner the doorbell rings and the lady was here for the dog with her kids. She didn't call first! Oh well, although it was really crazy for a good 15 minutes in the end she took the dog and dinner was a success. I have to admit that I am missing my dog a little...just a little! Yesterday I spent a good portion of the day de-hairing (is that a word?) my house:) Which I need to get back to the whole "spring cleaning" part of my day. Happy belated Easter all!

Congrats on now having a dog-free home! I've got to admit that I am jealous. I've given in to the fact that we will probably be keeping Happy around for awhile :( Some day I hope to be able to have a dog hair free home...
