Toothless Talvez

(That title is for you Seth!)

I am bad and didn't get any pictures before I put the kids to bed, but we have had a busy tooth day around here. Adrian has been working on a loose tooth for a few weeks now and determined this afternoon that today was the day. Of course when it was time to tuck in for the night he just couldn't sleep yet because it was so close to coming out. His efforts were rewarded a few minutes later when he now held the tooth in his hand. (#S for those who care!) He has been a busy boy and is right on track. He only has 3 more molars to come out and his canines.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is our little Jonathan. This little stinker has been teething for months! I swear, at least once a week the little bumps would appear only to go away the next day. It is like he was holding out to have me endure the endless torment of a teething baby! The last week or so had been particularly bad with him trying to chew on everything and drooling all over. This afternoon I got him to take a little siesta at my parent's and when he awoke I found a little surprise in his mouth. Teeth! Both of his bottom two front teeth (#O and #P) had cut through! Of course he would have to get them together. Stinker. It has been hilarious to watch him the rest of the day feeling them with his fingers and testing them out. I wonder what that must be like since I don't recall when I got my own! Now the next phase to watch out for is biting. Fingers crossed he doesn't find joy in biting other children or adults for that matter!

This was a few weeks ago...that is a metal table leg. Really Jonathan? Is that soothing in any way whatsoever?
