Don't worry. It's not just you. No one is getting a Christmas card from us this year. I had very good intentions. I bought paper to make them....almost a year ago. I entered all our friends and families addresses in the computer to print out mailing labels.....last month. And here I sit. At the end of the last day to mail Christmas cards with any hope of them arriving prior to Christmas day....with no Christmas cards made or ready to mail. But, now that I am thinking of it, we haven't gotten nearly the amount of cards this year as years past. Maybe I am not the only pathetic Christmas card loser? The Christmas season is my absolute favorite time of year and I am getting depressed that it is coming to an end so quickly. Only four days to go. Most of our Christmas festivities have already taken place, our tree is up (my camera is MIA so I have no pictures of anything this month!), the shopping is done (okay, not the grocery shopping, I am avoiding the stores and my family is eating some pretty interesting meals!), the presents are mostly wrapped, and we went caroling with some dear friends tonight. Oh how I love it! I still have a few gifts to finish making and delivering, a little bit of wrapping to complete, zoo lights to see, some serious food shopping to do, and a fantastically frantic house to put in order. At least I finally have baseboards! Andrew has made good use of his break from school and done some projects around the house. He needed this break...it was a long term, but he got straight A's! Congrats babe. You set the bar high for yourself;) I want this week to take it's time so I can have the Christmas season last just that much longer, but I know it will go by quickly and be gone before I know it. I hope you all enjoy your Christmas celebrations and know how much we love you...despite the lack of a Christmas card in your mailbox from:

We totally didn't send Christmas cards out this year either. And you're right, we didn't receive nearly as many cards this year as in previous years. And yay for having baseboards. Also, so I really have been slacking on Facebook so I didn't see your message. Perhaps we should just talk on the phone :) Someday I will get back to checking email, blogs, etc. But we need to get together before we move on the 8th!!
