Back to School

Another school year has begun! Adrian started his 5th grade year on Sept. 7, 2010. It was actually kind of funny because when we were driving home on Sunday I made a comment about school starting and Adrian said, "wait, what? School starts on Tuesday? How come nobody told me?" Umm, hello dude. What do you think we bought all the school supplies for and how could you have missed out on all the conversations about school starting????
Funny story: a couple days after school started Adrian was telling me how that day he had had two different girls ask him to be their boyfriend. I asked him what he did about it. He said, "I didn't say anything. I just ran away from there!" I took this opportunity to discuss Joseph and Potiphor's wife. Adrian just laughed at me, but I hope I made myself perfectly clear that he is far too young to be worried about this aspect of life and that he is to "run away" from girls until he is old enough to date (at least 21!) He just blushed and looked away. We shall see how much longer in life he will be running away from the ladies!
