Arachnaphobia

Warning: if spiders freak you out do not read this post and feel free to go about your daily business unafraid.

When I came home from a costco run last week I could see this from the street as I turned into our driveway. Yes, I could see it from the street people! This "arachnis deathakiss" was in need of meeting it's maker. I am very proud to report that after I safely secured my little ones in the house (presumably spider-free) I knocked this bad boy down with a giant stick and stomped it to death. Given any other option I would have done that, but letting it live wasn't an option and asking the babies to kill it wasn't either. Someday it might be.....

Oooo, ooo, ooo! I hate spiders (but not so much I couldn't read this!) :) NOT COOL. I'm glad that you could take care of it. Whew. (P.S. Love your playlist on here.)

Spring time sucks for one reason - the bugs!!! Way to go on getting that nasty thing.

St. George was a desert so we had scorpions and trianchlas (sp). ON one occasion, I took the garbage out and there on the lid of the can was a huge spider. I asked Mark to take a look and he said it was a baby trianchila! Not fun! You are brave.
