This year I decided to do Easter buckets for the kids. I am lame and have never done it before. There is a little bit of history from my childhood with the baskets and so I have avoided doing it thus far, but I thought I would give it a try and I am so glad that I did. I had as much fun doing it as the kids had in finding them and their treats! I got some cute buckets from the store and added their names in vinyl. Typically I am not a big candy for kids person, but I did get a fair amount of junk for them. Reagan's candy was really for her daddy;) I decided that I wanted to get each of the kids a book this year and start that tradition. Reagan got some lacy dress socks and a toy as well. Jonathan got some Go Diego, Go underwear that he flipped out over. The books for the year were: Reagan-Baby Einstein Peek a Boo, Jonathan-Go Diego, Go: Bobo Brothers, Luke- Diary of a Wimpy Kid (the newest book), and Adrian- The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. I was so glad that I decided to do the books! It was so much fun to watch my cutie family sitting around the kitchen table reading books while I made a big breakfast of pancakes and bacon.
Reagan loved the pancakes! I love the face she made for this picture:)

How cute! The buckets are darling. I just read "The Lost Hero" and really liked it. (I actually do buckets myself and I like it because they STACK for storage! :) And I read somewhere about somebody getting stuff from LDS distribution to fill "baskets" with, so I did that this year and really liked it. Less room for candy, too. ha)
Hey, cute Easter entry! I am so bad about updating my blog, maybe today! We have those buckets, but green. Mark hidesthem around the house and makes the boys look for them. Very funny. Esp. now thet they are older and are really stumped after they look in the usual places.
