Father and Son Campout

In May there was a weekend that our church hosted a Father and Son Campout at Camp Rilea. The boys were pretty bummed when they found out that Andrew wasn't going to be able to take them, but they perked right up when Grandpa Dave volunteered to take them with him.
Adrian, Luke and Jonathan had a blast hanging out with Grandpa and Uncle Noah for the weekend trip. They ate lots of marshmallows and some s'mores. They had fun burning things. They went to the Astoria column and spit from the top (hope nobody got hit!). And Jonathan found a pine cone that he protected and saved for his momma. Adrian told me that Uncle Noah snatched it away and tossed it to the side. Jonathan flipped out and wouldn't calm down until "stinky Pete Noah" gave back his momma's pine cone. I found it in his pocket after he got home and he proudly told me that he found it just for me!
Reagan and I had a peaceful evening alone (well, she slept and I got things done!), but we missed out boys terribly. It was a lot of fun to have them home and hear all about their adventures.

That's really fun. I'm glad your dad could take them. I love Jonathan's pinecone. That is very sweet.
