Hoping to put the "after" in "aftermath"

One of the many reasons for my lack of blogging updates is the impromptu home improvement projects going on around here.  Okay, more like one project in particular.  The master bathroom has developed a definite position of being the least favorite room in our house as of late.  In the end it will be fabulous....at least that is what I have to tell myself about it right now.
In another post I will rehash all the nitty gritty details, but for now I will leave you with a few pictures that capture the day of broken water pipes, flooding house, and going too long without running water.

This face captures the day perfectly!  I bet he is thinking...."my parents have lost their minds.  this is the weirdest day of my life.  i can't believe how much manual labor they are making me do!"

This is a shot of the shower in the other bathroom.  The showers were pretty much exactly the same so I guess this counts as our "before" the aftermath of a DIY home improvement project gone seriously wrong.
