For our October dayt we got a sitter, slipped on our grubbies and some boots, and headed to Sauvie Island to try out this year's corn maze. We decided that we wanted to go ahead and do both of the mazes: the regular timber's themed one and the haunted one. The first one was divided into two halves. We flew through the first half without any problems. The second half however, well, that was another story;) We got seriously turned around (mostly because we failed to notice that a path we thought we had tried we hadn't...)
We had so much fun trying to figure out how to get out of that silly maze. After we finished the first maze we got some hot cider and hot cocoa. It was perfect for warming up our hands;)
The haunted maze was actually pretty cheesy and although there was some seriously morbid junk in there and a few things that made me jump it really wasn't that bad. We had so much fun trying to find our way out of the first maze that the whole night was perfect.
We have had so much fun with our dayts this year that I am happy to announce a 2012 version will be coming along soon! I love making time for the one I love. Andrew is the best friend I will ever have and we have a blast doing stuff together. It all works out perfectly...
