Sauvie Island Pumpkin Patch

This year I thought that it would be a lot of fun to go to the Pumpkin Patch at Sauvie Island with the kids.  It never worked out to take everyone, but there was a Tuesday that it worked out for Andrew and I to take the little ones.  It turned out to be a beautiful day.  We started out by going into the animal barn to see the various animal friends.  Jonathan and Reagan seemed to really enjoy themselves.  Jonathan discovered that it is a lot of fun to walk through deep muddy puddles in your rain boots;)  He ended up with mud up to his waist!  After some time wandering around the pumpkin field we finally made our selections.  Our garden this year yielded two pretty decent pumpkins that Adrian and Luke already had their eyes on for themselves.  Stay tuned for pictures from the carving!

(I should have taken a picture of the muddy aftermath...)
