In case you were hiding under a rock a couple weeks ago let me fill you in: we had a lot of snow around these parts. In fact, there are still a couple of small piles in our front yard! I think we ended up getting about 9" of snow. It was an interesting week to say the least. Monday was a holiday for MLK: the kids were still at the coast and Andrew and I worked. Tuesday we woke up to snow and the call for 2 hr late followed by the call for no school. Snow day! Wednesday we woke up to even more snow and the call for no school again! I'm grateful that this snow storm only kept us home bound for a couple of days, but I'm sad that the snow didn't last very long. I think that snow can make everything look so clean and peaceful. We just get stuck at home since our street doesn't get plowed but the main street you turn onto does so it leaves a pretty big snow drift across the road. Out here in the Pacific Northwest there isn't a lot on hand to adequately handle the occasional snow storms we inevitably have. Just means you cozy up at home and stick it out! Thankful for friends who live within walking distance so that we could get out and not be so stir crazy. Maybe we'll see some more snow before spring?

Love the pictures!! I know--I couldn't get over the fact that the NW had so much snow, and here I sat in 40 degree weather, which was TOTALLY record-breaking for this area!! So weird. Cute pictures, though.
