Why So Curly?

Where did my little princess get her curly hair from?!   I always wanted to have hair with a nice curl to it, but mine is in a confused place that resides in an awkward state of straight, but not really.  Andrew's hair is super thick and has a lot of texture to it.  Like a lot.  His hair fros out when it gets too long.  I know we both have curly haired folks in our families, but I still don't get it.
