A couple of weeks ago I could not get my kids to get moving when it came to getting ready for church. Jonathan was being particularly obstinate and making my morning less fun by the minute. He finally compromised and came in to show me that he was ready for church. All he had done was put on a tie. He said that since he had a tie on he was ready for church, especially since these were his church pajamas. A wiser mom than I would probably have let him make that choice and had him wear the pjs to church, but I just couldn't so I got him to change with much weeping and wailing...I'm talking about him, not me;) If he wasn't so cute I don't know what we'd do!

Hilarious. (But, yeah, not if you're the mom trying to get everybody in the car.) I love that this was his "compromise." I think we should all have a set of Church Pajamas. (And, no, I never would have let my kids go like that, either. There must be other moms wiser than I, too.)
