Although there are still a few minor things that I need to do in Reagan's room (like paint touch ups and paint the black book case white) I finally took some pictures of the space.
For Reagan's second birthday we decided it was time to get her out of the crib and do some rearranging of her room. I've always wanted to have this room more put together and I feel like I am almost there!
Before there was a crib in the corner and the other furniture was just in different places. Here is the after:
The white shelf is one that I already painted white (used to be black) and the chair that I recovered is in the corner. I have been debating what to do with the books and for now I will leave them on the shelf. I think I may eventually get some of the spice racks from Ikea that I have seen all over blogland used as book holders to utilize some wall space more effectively and get that broke down book case out of there!

The closet sliders are working out wonderfully so far! I was honestly a little nervous about them getting pulled down or jacked up by my obnoxious little ones.
Aunt Chelsea got Reagan this fabulous new light for her room. Reagan was a little bummed when I was putting all the pretties on it since she wanted to somehow wear them all! Now she gets it and loves her light! (I was mostly proud of myself for figuring out how to install a new light--so much easier than I thought it would be!)
This corner of the room is still a little too chaotic for my taste, but it is a place for all of the toys to be for now and it is working so I just have to get over my issues with the appearance of clutter than gives me hives;)
This is the quilt that I made for Reagan. I totally made it without a pattern and I'm sure that a real quilt maker would be able to look at it and tell me how badly I did with it, but I really don't care! I love the way that it turned out (even if it is a teensy bit smaller than I intended to make it...) and it ties the room together. The bed is awesome and I love how easy it will be to adjust it and make it longer as she grows. Her babies are all over the place, but she plays with them all the time so I hate to put them away somewhere else. We love you Reagan!!!!

Oh, this is DARLING!!! I am so excited for you and for Reagan!! :) Love the little green leaf and the chandelier. Nice job on the quilt, too. Impressive!! CUTE room!
I wish I had a better excuse for not keeping up on my blog or reading yours for that matter, but I can only blame pinterest! And a 2 year old who needs my attention. Congrats for your sister, I love the Spy Training idea. Andrew and Victor used to do something like that without streamers!! Reagans Bday presents, how cute! LOVE her room! Wish I was that crafty. Brielle is also in a big bed now and I am happy to get rid of the crib! See Ya!
