I have been experimenting a little bit with some pinterest recipes and with the help of the kids have come up with some pretty cool adaptations. This was the best brinner ever. I took a Rhoades bread dough loaf and rolled it out flat. Down the middle I layered sausage, onions, eggs, bell peppers and syrup over that. Then you cut strips down the side and "braid" them over the top which I brushed with egg and sprinkled with cinnamon. It was a french toast/scrambled eggs/sausage/veggies fantasticness and we loved it! (There was some dispute regarding the veggies. I feel like they weren't bad in it and it added that element of "healthy" I felt was lacking...everyone else felt like the veggies just added an out of place flavor to the meal. Whatever.)
