Christmas Lights

I absolutely loved the lights that Andrew put up for Christmas this year! It was so nice driving down the street and seeing it all lit up. Jonathan decided that next year we should buy all brand new lights and wrap our house in red and white strands so that it looks like a candy cane. I don't know where he got the idea from, but he constantly referred to our house as being "all lit up like a candy cane...almost."
I never could get a decent picture of it though.
As much as I loved having the lights up and as much as I love Christmas in general, when it is over I am over it and ready to take down all the decorations and move on to the next thing. Thankfully Andrew was cool with going out and getting those lights down first thing in January. Love it!
 

(P.S. we are totally going to paint the house this year and I cannot wait!!!!)
