I don't even know where to begin! There have been so many things that have happened since my last post that I think I will just take it one day at a time:
Thursday: Valentine's day! Andrew made me breakfast in bed this year. So sweet, he had it all staged, I will spare the details, but it was so sweet. He made my favorite breakfast food: french toast... followed up by something else french ;) (mom, don't read that part!) Later that day we drove into Portland to pick up the home gym Andrew has been eyeing, I told him it pays to wait a little since we got it 50% off! Dinner was had at the Ruby Ranch place on HWY 30 with our friends, code name: durka durka and sharia-law (inside joke, sorry all!)
Friday: I worked downtown and then picked up Luke, we went over to my friends house and Luke ran around with the kids and I played the best game ever: "Ticket to Ride" this is an awesome board game that I suggest all try, I can't stop thinking about it!
Saturday: I am so glad that I chose the "better part" and went to women's conference in Rainier. The speakers were amazing! I took a class taught by my mom: "Mother's who know" and then a class about scripture study. This one was the most motivating, 2 days later and I have actually studied both days! I am trying it a little different now, I am studying by topic and keeping a study journal, hopefully I can at least make it through the first four principles of the gospel: faith, repentance, baptism, and the gift of the Holy Ghost. There are a lot of scriptures on faith! I think this may take a while... anyways, then I took a class on temples and the symbolism in the ordinances. I am so glad that I went that day, I needed to have my water pitcher filled by these amazing women (and men!) of our stake. Following the conference I returned home and Luke and I put together a dog house for Reese. It was super easy, especially since we have a battery powered screw driver! Anyone who has advice on how to make your dog love to be alone outside please feel free to share, Reese hates to be alone anywhere, especially outside! I don't need any animal rights activists letting me know how cruel it is to put a dog outside, when I have to be gone it is either that or my kitchen. I think the back yard is more fun...
Sunday: attended church and taught my CTR 7 class, the lesson was about Christ's birth. Is it just me or is it a little odd to do a Christmas lesson in February? Oh well.
Monday: read everyone's blogs after work all day, do 3 loads of laundry, walk the dog, clean the house... why is it that I still have to do this stuff on days I work?! Just out of curiousity I checked out that site for how many people have your name. There are only 1517 people in the US with the name Toshia (and in case you are wondering at least 99.9% of those are women...) and there is only me who has my combo of first and last name for both my maiden name and my married name! I am unique after all!
Now that I have updated I am sure that I missed something, oh well. Someday I will be better about this :) Have an awesome week everyone!

It sounds like it was a great week! Now we are at the dawn of a new one, I hope it's just as good!
I really hope your mom didn'r read this:) I'm glad you had a fun week. My darn sick kids kept me from Women's conference! I'm so sad I didn't get to hear your mom! I'm impressed with your construction skills, the dog house turned out so cute!
I am really kicking myself for not going to conference now! I think I needed it more than I realized.
Cute doghouse...I so want a puppy :)
I *love* the game Ticket to Ride! I play it online alot when I am up late and can't sleep. If you ever need an opponent, give me a call!
Hey Toshia!! So I do look at your blog. It turns out that everyone apparently has a blog so I gave in and started one. It is a good way to stay up to date with people's lives and to keep in touch, and as you can tell I'm not very good at doing that. Anyway, when will you be out in this neck of the woods? Or better yet, when might we be in yours...? Anyway, you seem to be keeping busy so hopefully you're staying out of trouble! Say hi to Andrew for me.
Wish I could have been at the conference...we have the sickies!
Cute doghouse...I'm impressed!
