This past weekend Luke was with us again and it was a blast. The cutest thing ever was when we were sitting around the computer playing Star Wars as a family (sounds fun, I know ;). I don't know how it started but Andrew made a comment about eating babies (random...) and then Luke with all seriousness said: "my mom eats babies." I looked at his little face and I said, what do you mean she eats babies? He said, "well, I think when my mom had my baby brother she went to the store and got some baby food. Then she ate the baby part and so it got in her stomach to grow. Then after the baby got too big it came out. So, my mom eats babies." How can you possible argue with such well thought out reasoning? It was adorable!
Of course the other part of this weekend was the snow. It was a little snowland in the backyard. Andrew's family was all coming over in the afternoon for a sort of "welcome home" celebration and so when I saw the snow I asked Andrew to go out back and clean up any little "gifts" left by Reese so that if people wanted to play out back there would be no surprises. He said, "the snow won't stick. It will be gone by then." Well of course it wasn't and it kept coming down. After the trip to the vet Andrew and Luke geared up to build a snowman in the backyard. They finished the "daddy" snowman and were almost done with the "son" snowman when they returned to the house to find out if there were any other gloves that Luke could wear. For you see, Luke's glove found a gift from Reese hidden in the snow that "wouldn't stick". If only my husband would learn that I am always right ;) After a quick change of gloves they were off to complete their works of art. The soldier snowman father-son team:

I wonder if they will every learn?! And I'm glad that's NOT where babies come from...it doesn't sound like quite as much fun:)
