HE'S HERE!

Toshia wanted me to post a couple of pictures here for her. I am not going to tell the story of her beautiful day but let Toshia tell it as only she can when she gets home. All I can say is that she is one amazing girl and her son is so lucky to have her for his mother! (I am crying as I write this - it just so amazing to me as her mother!)

Weighing in at 8 lbs. 3 oz. and 21 1/2" long meet Jonathan Calvert Stott. He arrived at 4:27 pm on October 30th.

Andrew was so happy and excited that everything went well for Toshia. I love this picture of him as he holds his new son for the first time!

Toshia's sisters Ashleigh and Chelsea and were there for the whole experience. She also had her good friend Amy there. Of course I was there and could not be prouder of Toshia for how great she did!

My mom expressed similar sentiments after being there for my first birth and I'm not sure why because she had done the same thing four times already. Maybe you just forget how hard it is to give birth until you see your daughter do it and feel impressed that she, too, can do very hard things.
