I gave in...

I am really sad to report that I have given in to my husband and started a facebook profile. There isn't really anything wrong with facebook in and of itself, but I had been adament that I had no time for it and I had a hard enough time keeping my blog up to date (notice how long it has been since I posted last?!). Andrew has some apps on there that I find extremely annoying (something with farming and mob wars--I call it his garden wars) and he is always talking about some crops to harvest and jobs to do. Whatever. I have real life "crops" to grow and jobs to "do." But, enter word challenge. Andrew wanted my help one day and I was hooked. I would play it with him a couple times a day and then he told me I couldn't do it anymore because I had to get my own profile. Brat! I seriously am mad at him about this because I had to do it and now I have something else to keep updated;) Secretly (okay not such a secret now...) I think it is neat since I have now made contact with several people I went to high school/college with that I haven't seen or talked to in years. Wierd! Anywayz...stay away from word challenge if you haven't discovered it already. I am hooked--and I am proud to report that I smashed my husband's record and am getting better every day.
Aside from all that I have been doing the whole mom thing and getting ready for going back to work on Monday...not looking forward to it. I have also been working on the Bunco prizes...I want to win them all! I told my husband I already have "my" prize picked out if I win anything and he looked at me like I am retarded and said "why don't you just make one for yourself then? why would you have to win it?" uhhh, doesn't he understand that is not the point? He said this is why men cannot play Bunco because they would just keep the prizes for themselves and not put any thought or effort into them. I think he is just jealous he isn't in our group! I will be doing some updating later...stay tuned!

I have be considering starting up the face book thing again. I once had an account, but that was in my early college days before any one else, and it just was not cool then. Who knows, maybe I will. It seems like every one else has one.

Originally I had said that I would never sign up with Facebook because I thought it was just like MySpace which I thought was high schoolish and lame. Plus I didn't want to have to keep up with it either. Then everyone kept talking about it and people were getting in touch with people they knew years ago, so I gave in and signed up. It has been nice to get back in touch with people, but it definitely does take too much time to completely keep up to date with everything. To be honest I don't really stay on top of it and I never do any of the added apps or anything. But at least I can somewhat keep up to date with what people are doing.

I'm anxious to see what you made for Bunco prizes. Facebook is fun!
