I cannot believe that we are now the proud owners of a minivan! I used to always say that I wouldn't be caught dead owning one, but reality has set in. It was just getting too cramped with 2 growing boys and a baby in the car with all the stuff they bring with them:) I did a ton of research and we finally decided on the Nissan Quest. I have to say that if I ever buy another new car (which I am sure we eventually will...) I will totally go about it the same way. Research is key!!! Not just to find the car you want, but to score an amazing deal. We knew what car we wanted, how much we were willing to spend and what we wanted for the trade in. We came in $500 cheaper on the van and got $200 less for the stratus than we wanted, but that still means we got out of there for $300 less than we planned on! Andrew and I felt pretty dang good about ourselves driving out of that lot. The dealer was calling it a "mom missile" and I thought that was pretty stinking funny! The boys decided that would be what we call it too. So, here she is in all her glory:
(As a seperate side-note: we ended the day by making a trip to the Oregon Zoo...what the heck were we thinking???? It was a beautiful day in the middle of spring break. Remind me never to do that again!)--Will post pics later...

She is a beauty. I never wanted a van either until I saw the Quest. Congrats. Now all you need is some people on the back window and the Stotts and Durants will be rolling in style.
Nice new ride! I felt the same way about van's before I was pregnant with Rowan, but now I can't imagine driving a "little" car.
Oooh, very nice! I still miss my minivan, and as much as I love having a 4wd, I kind of hope that someday Todd can have his "work truck" and I can have my van :)
Congrats on the new purchase. When I was younger I too never wanted a minivan, but we actually have checked them out and found how useful they can be. We just couldn't justify getting one until we are on our third kid, so we have a while to go!
I saw this tonight at your moms and wondered if it was yours.. I love my van, love it!
