This morning I decided that it would be fun to take a bubble bath with Jonathan. He was cracking me up! At first he tried to eat the bubble and once he decided that was not such a good idea he started kicking and splashing the water like he was some sort of merman or something. Maybe he will be a swimmer when he is older?
Yesterday was Jonathan's 6 month check up appointment. It turns out I wasn't really accurate in my "home" measurements! He is still big, but just not as big as I thought;) He is 29.5" long (100+%) and weighs 18 lbs. 3 oz. Jonathan is growing at a steady rate and hasn't really slowed down much since birth. The doctor said that it is likely that Jonathan will be crawling if not close to walking by his 9 month appointment. Jonathan is somewhat ahead with his development. His motor skills are pretty good. He is grasping everything and moves objects from hand to hand. He has held his head well for a long time, but now he is sitting pretty good on his own. Still have to keep an eye out for the occasional sideways fall though! Jonathan rolls all over the place and although he hasn't figured out how to move forward he has definitely learned how to scoot around backwards. He is waving hello and smiling at everyone. No sense of stranger danger whatsoever! Although he does get pretty bashful once someone smiles back. I love you Jonathan!
Yesterday was also Adrian's yearly physical. He is so excited that the doctor is predicting that he will be 6' tall. He was 4'6" and 68 pounds. Adrian is healthy and pre-puberty apparently. Uh, I am not ready to have a smelly, hairy, gross, pubescent boy around the house:) Things are going to start to get really interesting around here. For now I will just have to continue to make sure we have lots of food around for Adrian to eat since his favorite thing to say is "what is there to eat?" and then he proudly declares to me on a daily basis "I feel like I am going to eat you out of house and home!" Yes, my boy. You probably are, but such is the lot we drew by having a house full of boys.

I love baby bath time! Sometimes Tom will jump in the tub with Owen. They think it is great fun to bathe together.
He looks like an angel with a halo in the first picture!
He is the same height as Megan! And she's a year. Needless to say, my baby was only in teh 48th percentile at her one year checkup last week. She weighs a little more though, she was at 21 pounds even. (50%)
Way to grow Jonathan!
OH MY CUTENESS!!!
He is really cute in the tub. But it is funny that he weighs more than Cassia. She just went in for her 12 month check-up and she is 16 lbs 15 oz. She is a small fry, though.
