I was feeling a little guilty for not posting anything for a while and then I realized that being on vacation is a good excuse, right? I just had to share a couple things and then when I get home I will upload all the pictures and chronicle our trip.
First, "vacation" with a teether is not easy! Jonathan has cut through two more teeth and is working on another two.
Second, my wonderful SIL, Rachel, watched the boys for us last night so that Andrew and I could go and see the new Harry Potter movie. It was kind of a last minute thing so when we walked in the theater it was just starting and was so dark we couldn't see to find a seat. We ended up 4 rows from the front and strategically positioned to have the most annoying people in the whole theater in close proximity. Aside from the screaming baby that somebody apparently didn't feel the need to exit the room with (c'mon people, I have a baby too, I get it, they cry. That's why he stayed at home...) we also had a gaggle of giggling preteen girls behind us. One of these girls had a laugh that Andrew claims was more of a shriek. By far though my favorite was when I realized that the 20-something girl sitting next to me was quoting all the lines of the movie complete with hand gestures. The crowning moment was when I heard her "whisper" to her friend "The first time I saw this I missed that part in the beginning so this didn't make sense, but this time I caught it." The first time???? Hasn't this movie been out for only a few days? How many times has this obsessed HP fan seen the movie already? And why did I have to be sitting next to her? Overall, I loved the movie...although I think I may have to see it again without the side commentary going on to enjoy it fully.
I saw the last HP movie at the local theater in St. Helens and was treated to a 5 minute lecture from the power crazed assistant manager before the show started about cell phones in the theater (remember that mom?). Am I destined to never have a great theater experience with HP? Anybody else out there have bad theater "neighbors?"

We were worried she would come out again this time but we were lucky to not have to endure that lecture. We also had annoying kids behind us (really bothered Taylor and Chloe the most) but I agree the movie was good! Can hardly wait for you all to come home!
