The rest of the trip...

I decided to document the rest of this Utah trip in a series of photo collages...faster and easier!

One of the places we went was the Brigham City bird Refuge (Andrew kept calling it a bird refuse because of all the poop...) It was pretty neat. We got to watch a video there and go for a nature walk.

Later that afternoon we went to the pool there in Brigham City. I opted not to get into the water...(mainly because of the depressing truth that my bathing suit doesn't fit yet and I refuse to buy a bigger one...sigh) Everyone else had a blast--especially Jonathan! One end of the pool was set up like a beach with a very shallow wading area that Jonathan crawled around in and splashed up a storm. Luke discovered the huge water slide and spent several hours going up and down it. Adrian was too nervous about the slide so he spent his time jumping in and out of the water and playing with his cousins under the water "tree." Now I have 3 incredibly tan sons living in my house...why is it that they can tan so easily and my pasty self will stay white no matter what?!

On another day we went down to the Hill Air Force base to visit the Air Museum there. The kids had a blast and ran from place to place. They had these cute little airplanes that toddlers could get pushed around in and Jonathan had to get in and go for a ride. For obvious reasons it is still unknown what Jonathan would like to be when he grows up, but Adrian wants to be in the Air Force and Luke wants to be an astronaut.

On our way home we stopped at Bonneville Dam to see Herman the Sturgeon in all his hideous wonder. As far as I am concerned that was one of the sickest things I have ever seen--I can't believe people actually eat those ugly things! Anyways, then we stopped to have lunch at Multnomah Falls. The boys were a little disappointed that we didn't hike all the way to the top, but with limited amount of time as well as a strong desire for showers all the way around, we decided against it. We had to settle for just going up to the bridge. I am glad that we didn't go all the way to the top with how crazy the boys were acting just that far. I had visions of boys tumbling down the hillside and visits to the emergency room...I like having both feet firmly planted on solid ground thank you very much!

Over all this was an amazing trip and we had such a fun time. We were able to make some wonderful memories with each other and to form stronger bonds with our extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you! to Rachel and her family for being so amazing. I told Andrew that I felt like we had checked into a B&B with how easy we had it. I can't wait to get the boys all back together again!

Glad to hear you had such a great time and you weren't just faking it! We too, are sad these boy cousins live so far. The Bradley boys were having so much fun. It was good to see them get to know the Stott cousins. Great pictures!
