Today was Jonathan's 14 month check-up at the pediatrician's office. About time since he is almost 15 months old! He is staying pretty consistent, which apparently isn't "normal?" His length continues to be in the 95th percentile (33 inches) and his weight continues to be in the 75th (25 lbs 5 oz). I find it interesting that consistency is "abnormal" but I am not surprised to have a child considered so! It all boils down to the fact that this boy can and will eat. He stands in the kitchen pointing to the cupboards and fridge most of the day. The funniest thing is when he runs up to the open fridge and proceeds to stand there with his hands on his hips as he surveys the options and tries to make a decision on what he wants. It makes me laugh what he "chooses" most of the time, too. I previously posted about his desire to consume celery, but he also likes baby carrots. He can't eat them very well, but he is perfectly content to gnaw and suck on it forever. I love this kid so much and he totally keeps me busy every day.
He has added to his vocabulary and signing repertoire, but I am too lazy to list it all. The funniest is his obsession with "Spun Bob" and "Wow,wow." You would think he spends his life in front of the TV, but he really doesn't. He is more likely to be found following you around all day with the same 4 books he pulls off the shelf and wants to have repeatedly read to him. He has to sit on your lap just so, too. It is hard for me to picture my life without this sweet little angel who happens to be doing my favorite thing right now: sleeping.

Love reading your blog! Thanks for the great updates on the kids. Johnathan sounds like a "mini Andrew". I have a picture of me reading a book to Andrew on my lap and he's screaming and pulling my hair. Love that kid anyway!
