Last weekend Andrew took the boys to Hood River to go to the Antique Car and Air Museum there with his dad. The boys left nice and early that morning and I had a day to myself! I sent along the camera and got lots of pictures of the fun. Here are a few I'll share:

My boys!

Adrian used some of his b-day money that was burning a hole in his pocket to buy some parachute men. I guess they spent a long time in a field where it was really windy and had a blast. Of course Jonathan couldn't understand why he didn't get to have one...

Jonathan with a random co-pilot in a helicopter.

Luke and Adrian "flying" an antique airplane.

There's no way this can be safe!

Luke hopped in the chopper with Jonathan and helped him fly for a bit.

Andrew, Jonathan, Luke, and Grandpa listening to a presentation from a veteran.

I wonder if Adrian thought this replica of a machine gun was interesting or not?
From the pictures and the smiling, exhausted boys that returned home I would say the adventure was a success. Maybe next time they go I will have to join in (and so will their little sister!)

How totally cool!!! I love the caption "this can't be safe." That was hilarious. Outings with dads are always different from outings with moms. Cool to see "Grandpa" too (my SWEET uncle!) :) I sure miss living nearby! The machine gun picture was PRICELESS!!
Boys and airplanes! How fun. Good to see Dad (Grandpa)hanging out with the boys! Everytime I see a picture of Adrian smiling, I see Andrew as a little boy! Such fun!
