Legoland
When the boys first found out that there was such a thing a Legoland they were dying to go. We decided that this year in lieu of birthday presents we were going to go to legoland and Disneyland. Adrian and Luke thought that Legoland was awesome; however, Andrew and I thought it was kind of lame. The rides are way tame and the park really isn't that big. If I could do it over again I would rather have done another day at Disneyland or gone to California Adventure. At least now we know. I think that legoland would be perfect for kids between the ages of 4 and about 9ish. Jonathan was barely tall enough to go on some of the rides and most of them he wasn't even close. Poor guy. Oh well, we still had a lot of fun and made the most of it. Hope you enjoy the million pictures!

This was such a baby ride, but Adrian and Luke thought it would be fun to go on anyways. The sad thing is that I don't think they regretted their decision...

Adrian was not interested in giving any of the "roller coasters" at this park a try. I tried to get him to see that if the ride would let 4 and 5 year old kids on it that it couldn't be that scary. Oh well. No such luck. He did get to ride on this "baby" ride though while I took Luke on a "big kid" ride:)

Luke is our little daredevil...totally willing to try anything. Andrew and Luke both felt that this was the best ride of all.

The guy running this scam booth said it was his last day...he was practically giving away the Sponge Bob dolls. Luke wanted one for himself and Adrian wanted to win one for Jonathan. The nice guy let them both have as many tries as it took to win one. I thought it was pretty sweet of him, but I was still thinking it was waste of money!

You can barely see that Jonathan is holding my phone up to his ear. He got really upset that he couldn't sit on my lap and didn't like the lap bar so he was freaking out before the ride even began. My solution: I gave him my cell phone and he pretty much had this whole conversation with himself the entire length of the ride. Silly kid!

A family full of burly firefighters!

Digging for fossils...

Lego Hagrid

Harry Potter

Indiana Jones

Reagan pretty much did a whole lot of this....

We had a ton of fun! The only thing I wish we would have known was that although there is a separate water park, there are also a lot of water rides and sprinklers in one area of the park. It wasn't too hot that day, but still, it would have been nice to know about beforehand.

We went to Legoland about 3 years ago, and I LOVED it, but that was mainly because I LOVED all the cool things made from Legos. They had a lot of the same stuff, but I wish they would have had Hagrid, Harry Potter, and Indiana Jones when we went--those are so cool. But you're right--the rides are for pretty little kids. I had pretty little kids, so it worked out, but I do remember my oldest (he was probably 10 at the time) was bored with the rides. The water park is new since we were there! I love all the pictures you posted!

Wow, looks like you guys are having a ton of fun. And you are very brave to be doing all of this with a new baby! I can't wait until my kids are older so that we can go to places like this. It's so much more fun through the eyes of kids!
