So, I was just realizing that Reagan will be 5 months old this week! I cannot believe how big she is getting and how much she is changing. I also cannot believe how few pictures I have taken of her and how little I have blogged about her in comparison to Jonathan. Poor second child--just like me;) It is funny how different Jonathan and Reagan are and how different my parenting attitude is this time around as well. I would have to look back, but I am pretty sure that by this time Jonathan was eating solids pretty regularly and was still not sleeping through the night despite all my best efforts. With Reagan things are way different. She has been sleeping through the night for a while now and has only recently started to show interest in food. I am so bad with how inconsistent I have been with her about it. I have given her rice cereal a few times, she didn't really seem to get it or care too much for it. And I have given her a banana in her mesh food pouch thing--this she absolutely loved! It was so funny to see her reaction to it once she figured it out. I haven't really pushed the solids on her since she doesn't really seem to be that interested and she is nursing pretty well still. I have had a few issues with supply and demand though so I have to supplement with a few ounces of formula about once a day, but other than that things are going great.
For milestones she is tracking everything, turns to look when she hears a voice she recognizes, plays in her exersaucer and grasps the toys, she loves to play with her little rattles and is having fun rolling over to get at what she wants. I am not really ready for her to be entering the mobile stages, but she obviously is! She is growing so fast that I can't keep up with it. She is so long that at 5 months old she is in 9mo size clothes and even has a couple 12 mo things she wears. I love you little Reagan (or as Jonathan would say "love you baby waygan!")

Wow, the pictures! She is just growing! So beautiful! :)
What a cutie! And time sure does fly. It's funny how different we do act with our second child versus our first. I was such a paranoid freak with Porter trying to always go by what the books say, but now I realize that was stupid and I just follow my kid's leads and take it day by day. Glad things are going so well with you guys. Miss you!
I love reading about Reagan's milestones. Helps me to keep track of Brielle's next adventures. Thanks for sharing your family with us via blog. Love you!
