Just some cute pics of these fabulous little "babies."
Reagan is now 9 months old. Holy cow! I am a bad mom and haven't taken her in yet for her 9 month checkup, but it is coming up so I will update her stats then. She is still crawling around and pulling herself up on everything. I am not ready for her to grow up yet and be walking, but I know it will be happening before I know it. Reagan is eating 3 meals of solids a day and no longer nursing. She has 2 teeth on the bottom, those top teeth are thisclose to cutting through, too. I just pulled out all the 18 month clothes and I am sure she is over 20 lbs now, but we shall see the official weight in a few days.
Jonathan has been cracking me up daily lately. His new favorite response is "of course." Do you want a snack? "of course I do." Do you think Grandma would want to go with us? "of course she will say yes!" He has also said some pretty funny things with prayers.
At night I usually help him say his prayers and have him say something along the lines of "please help me to listen to my mommy and my daddy." Well, the other day I told him to listen to me and he said "no! I not say that prayer right now! I not listen to mommy! I won't say that prayer!"
A few weeks ago he was saying the closing prayer for family night and I was helping him. I prompted him to say "bless us to sleep well" and he stopped and yelled out "no! It not bedtime! I not go to bed!" I could not get him to call him down to finish the prayer. It is so funny how he can react so strongly to what we are praying about. The other thing is how when he prays he uses a high falsetto voice. Too funny!
The next one I am trying not to take personally, but still: my mom told him she didn't want to be "abuela" any more from Dora, she wants to be Jessie from Toy Story again since abuela is old and fat. Jonathan looked at my mom and said (pointing to me) "no, you not fat. She is fat." to which my mom said "that's not nice, she's not fat" and he said "yes she is, shes tummy is fat." Little brat. I can't help but laugh at him though. And he never says "hers" he always says "shes." which is pretty cute.
Jonathan almost has his alphabet down and he counts to 9 all by himself and to 20 with help. I love reading books to him. Even though he can be a little stinker, how can I not love someone who wants to have 2 kisses and hug every night before bed and whispers in my ear "just like llama llama and pickle me." (The book "Llama llama, red pajama" and the movie "Despicable Me.")
I love this little babies of mine!

Sweet, sweet babies. It's great that you are recording all these things because I swear they change daily! They grow and change right before your eyes.
