A couple of months ago Adrian started to comment that he couldn't really see the numbers on the clock. Then I would hear him making comments about how cool glasses would be to wear so I wasn't sure if he just wanted glasses or really couldn't see. Well, it was a little of both. Last month Adrian found out that he has 20/400 vision in his right eye and 20/80 in his left. Blind as a bat! Adrian picked out the frames he wanted and a week later we were picking up his very first pair of glasses. Adrian spent the weekend marveling about all the things that he had never really seen before. It was so cool to experience this discovery process with him. I did feel a teeny bit guilty that we had no idea Adrian couldn't see, but now we know and can move forward. Hopefully we see some improvement at school now? Fingers crossed.
