The Fourth Dayt of Christmas

On the fourth dayt of Christmas you both will learn a lesson,
with dinner and a temple session.

Yup, I know. I said "fourth!" I promise we really did go on this dayt last month (in the proper month of April), it's just that I haven't blogged about it yet. Because of all the things that have been going on with my family in the last couple of weeks I haven't really been in a bloggy mood. In fact, all the posts have been ones that I previously did and just hadn't posted yet! I have one more to do about stuff from April and then I will get started on the May happenings (hush, I know there are only a few days of May left.....and it just may be the case that our May dayt is scheduled for the 31st....maybe....nothing wrong with that, right?!)

Andrew and I had a really nice experience at the temple last month. It was actually the first time that I had attended a session since Reagan was born. I love the feelings of peace and comfort that I come away with. After the loss of my cousin, Joey, last week I am even more grateful for the blessings that the temple has to offer. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it down to California in time to go to the temple with all my extended family on Tuesday--the day before the funeral--I was able to partake of the sweet Spirit that lingered with them when I arrived at my Grandma's house. I know that we will be with Joey again someday. Oh sweet the joy this sentence gives! Next year I will go to California again and my family will gather at the temple there. I love that my husband and I can go on a dayt that isn't just "hanging out" and that we can have the opportunity to grow and develop spiritually together, too.

Until next month, happy dayting everyone!
