Daily Life

The last couple of weeks of October were pretty crazy around here.  I was working hard trying to get things done around this place and get ready for Halloween.  My kids drive me crazy, but they also keep me sane;)

Since I have been training to run a 10K most of my days start of with trying to fit in a run or other activity.  I used to push the kids in the jogger, but once you are running more than 2 miles in this land of seemingly all uphill it is really hard.  The two of them have a combined weight of more than 50 lbs.  I know it would help me to get stronger, but I really prefer to have the use of my back and shoulders after I run thank you very much.

Here is Jonathan right after I finished up his Han Solo costume:
I did most of this with stuff that I already had.  Nice.  Jonathan wanted to wear it for pretty much eternity, but I bribed him logically reasoned with him and he complied;)

Reagan keeps me on my toes, but she is such a cutie pie that I don't mind at all.
She started exclusively walking at the end of October.  She has to be one of the most stubborn little ones that I have ever met.  I am scared for me.....maybe it will get easier?  (Stop laughing at me!)
Reagan got this cute sock monkey as a gift when she was born, but Jonathan plays with it all the time.  The hands and feet have magnets in them and he likes to see what he can get the monkey to "do."
Caught red-handed playing with Jonathan's toys:
But she sure is cute doing it!

The costume is darling. All the pictures are darling, actually. As far as the stubbornness, I've found that it CAN coexist with an awesome, sweet, and fun personality, so you never know! :)
