That's not fair!

And just when you thought life couldn't be any less fair:
Reagan will sometimes get treats for going potty in the toilet.
Jonathan does not get treats for going potty in the toilet.
Why?
Yes. Why.

The unfairness of life is never ending.

Is it just me or does it seem ridiculous to reward behavior that has moved past the point of "training?"  The best is when Adrian will say "can I have some of those?  I went potty in the toilet too!"  Really?  I should hope that as a sixth grader that feat has already been mastered.
Although, judging by the amount of yellow staining that I find around their toilet...maybe rewards for better aim are in order.

Yeah. Nothing is fair. Ever. That's about it.

:)

But, yes, I like the idea of rewards for AIM.

This makes me think (I'm kind of gagging just getting ready to tell you this) about a house we looked at here in NY when we were house hunting. It had a cool finished basement which would have made a great play/rec room area, but there was a bathroom down there that had CARPET on the floor. A CARPETED bathroom! I couldn't really believe what I was seeing--I was trying to figure out how that could be for real. CAN YOU IMAGINE?!?!?

Maybe it was someone who only had girls. ;)

The house we moved into when I was 12 had a carpeted upstairs bathroom and it was nasty. It didn't take long for my mom to rip out the carpet and opt for a tile instead;)
