Easter Egg Hunt

For the last couple of years we have gone to the mEgga hunt at the fairgrounds.  This year there was so much rain that the parking area was a mud pit and we would have had to take a shuttle.  I wasn't feeling that at all!  My mom stepped in and saved the day by having an egg hunt in her backyard.  She took care of everything!  We had the older kids go out and hide the eggs and the little ones went hunting.

One of Reagan's eggs popped open and she realized that it had some candy in it.  She was all about trying to eat the candy from that point on and didn't care about getting any more eggs.  Jonathan was desperately trying to "win" the most eggs and filled his bucket.  My mom The Easter Bunny did an awesome job and had those eggs stuffed to capacity with really good candy.  Thanks mom for making your grandchildren some really happy little egg hunters!

That's so cute! I've always loved the "low key" (i.e. not jam-packed) egg hunts. This is so fun. Everyone looks happy. :)
