This Mother's Day was another fabulous one! I woke up to breakfast in bed (french toast...my favorite!) and found this lovely surprise waiting for me in the kitchen. There were just a few random things that Andrew knows I would "get" and a beautiful pot of hydrangeas. I have loved having them in my kitchen so much that I am hesitant to transplant them outside. The tag says to do so when they are "spent" indoors. I have no idea what that means so I guess they will stay forever;)
I am so grateful to my own mother for all the sacrifices she makes for me each day. I don't think I would be able to survive my own journey of motherhood if it wasn't for all the things she does for me and my children. I wasn't always the easiest daughter...in fact I know I was horrible (especially as a teenager!) But, I am grateful for the fact that I can now look at my mom as one of my best friends. I love you mom!
