For this months dayt we pretended to be tourists. The original plan was much grander and involved spending a long day in the Portland area. However, life happened as usual so it was modified:) We ended up driving over to the South Columbia County Chamber of Commerce. We spent a long time in there with the lady who runs it telling us all about things to see and do. There was a lot we already knew (since we aren't really tourists!) But, there were a lot of things that we learned too. We left with a whole bag of brochures and fliers. The only disappointing thing was that she kept telling us about things to do that were no where near here--like Hood River, OR. What up with that?!
After we left there we decided to check out the museum at the old Courthouse and found out that it is only open on Wednesdays...it was not a Wednesday. Oh, well. We had a lot of fun anyways and ended the dayt with milkshakes and fried asparagus from Burgerville!

Tell Andrew nice beard he's sporting! I like it. That would be funny--to act like tourists and know certain things like how dang far Hood River is!! :) Sounds like a fun Dayt, though! We miss Burgerville shakes. I could do their fried asparagus, too--never had that. We're so deprived out here in NY. :)
