About a month ago I was learning how to be the best mom in the world wasting time on pinterest when Jonathan exclaimed "mom we have to do that!" It was a picture of a block of ice with toys in it. The idea was to freeze your kid's stuff and let them dig it out:) I told him we would put it on the bucket list. He calls it the "dino dan dig." The best was when he was trying to explain to people what we were going to do: "first you find your dinosaurs and then you put them in water and freeze them. Once they got all frozed then you just throw them at the computer to get them out!" I don't think he really understood what we were going to do;)
I gave the kids silverware, brushes, and hot water to get all those relics out. It was an amazing hour of entertainment and surprising cooperation (both key elements to success!)

OH. MY. GOSH. Why hadn't I ever heard of this when I had little kids I needed to keep entertained for an hour? Oh. My. Gosh. That is the coolest thing EVER.
