After the ceremony we headed outside for some big family pictures that I cannot wait to see! Currently the Mr. & Mrs. are traveling around Europe on their honeymoon, so it might be a while before I get to see any of those fabulous photos;)
After the torturous ordeal of getting the kids to smile "normally" for more pictures we headed inside the Hotel Vintage Plaza for the reception. Guests were already enjoying time socializing for cocktail hour before the reception started. They had a plated dinner served and it was perfect! Ashleigh spent so much time planning out every detail and the end result was really something fantastic. I was extremely impressed and loved the way everything coordinated. I loved the simple yet elegant decorations and the colors were perfect: gray and mustard yellow...black, white, and gold were added in as well. My kids had so much fun at the reception and the whole night was definitely a night to remember. Thanks for letting us celebrate with you guys!

The best part of this day (besides the actual wedding of course!) was getting to spend it with my family. Specifically being able to be there with my husband. It really made me think about my own wedding. I'm glad that my sister was able to marry her best friend just like me!
At some point Jonathan and Reagan decided that whenever anyone tried to take their pictures they were going to stick out their tongues. Unfortunately this means that a lot of random people now have pictures of my children that look like this.
Stinkers.
My parents were so excited to welcome in their newest family member. My dad took this as the perfect opportunity to get a new suit...and some awesome shoes that are way to hip, but awesome nonetheless.
Jonathan was fascinated by all the silverware and glasses. I think he spent half of the time trying to scoop ice out of his glass with a spoon. How some people could allow their children to eat ice;)
Hayden and Autumn did a reading during the ceremony together. They read a portion of Dr. Suess' "Oh, the Places You'll Go" that Ashleigh had picked out for them. It was perfect!
Noah got his first 3-piece suit for the wedding and he looked like a man instead of a teenager. Calm down! For those who don't know he is quite the talented guitar player and he wrote a song for wedding that he played for the part of the ceremony where they lit a unity candle. I could listen to him play for hours. We need to be very careful with this one...
My constant source of entertainment was a certain 3 year old who could not sit still! He would start "dancing" randomly and it would look more like he was spazzing out than anything.
I think that this picture of Adrian is my absolute favorite. My little sister, Paige, thought it was hilarious to try and fake kiss him. His reaction was priceless! As the boys were getting ready for bed later he told me, "mom, it made me really uncomfortable that Paige was trying get us to dance and stuff." I love that he is at an age where he definitely is aware of cute girls, but when it comes to anything that involves interaction with non-immediate family members that are female he gets weirded out. Paige, for the record, was perfectly fine and did nothing inappropriate;)
When Luke and Adrian got a hold of the camera there was no stopping them. I deleted many a photo that night!
In the end all the excitement proved too much for some of our party. Specifically a certain flower girl who passed out in my arms. We decided to go home with the little ones while Adrian and Luke stayed to party it out and got a ride home from my parents.
If you look close you can see Reagan's flower ball hanging on the back of my chair. My mom is so awesome! She made the flower ball, the dress, ring pillow, the table cloths, and I'm sure many other things I can't think of at the moment. I found Jonathan's clothes from a site called Dapper Lads and I made Reagan's slip...that counts for something, right? Even though it looks only so so and you're lucky you can't see it!
