So, I must confess that this dayt did not go as originally intended. I had this big scheme in my mind of how things would go and then realized that we are not goofy teenagers anymore and I didn't really want to go run around and play tag in a cemetery;) This month's dayt was a "Full Moon Group Dayt." The full moon for the end of October was on a Monday night so instead of interrupting Family Night we went out on the Saturday before the full moon. We went on the "Haunted Tours" of St. Helens. It was incredibly cheesy and such a blast! I honestly thought that it was just going to be a tour that would tell us all the ghost stories and tales of the area...supposedly we are haunted. There was a movie filmed her called "Halloween Town" which I have never seen, but the town gets pretty amped up about Halloween because of it. The show Ghost Hunters has been to our town since the "Klondike" restaurant is apparently haunted. They make an incredible burger and some amazing desserts if you can get past the hauntedness;)
Anyways, the tour ended up being a play put on by a local theater group. We did walk around within a few blocks. I would totally do it again, but definitely prepay for the tickets so it's only $5 apiece (not worth $10 apiece!) After the tour we decided the night was still young and it was time for some food. Luckily for us there was a restaurant right across the street that we love that was open late: Hawaiian Island Cafe. The best part of the evening was when we went in only to find out that they were throwing a Halloween Karaoke party! Andrew was beside himself with joy...that man loves a good night of Karaoke. Admittedly it was a lot of fun and I did end up getting out there and singing a duet with him. I believe this makes up for the lack of our karaoke dayt last year.

It was a blast of a night and we were so lucky to spend it with some of our best friends. There may be a few videos out there of karaoke...I'm pretty sure they are being saved for blackmail purposes in the future! Even though we were with a fantastic group I'm pretty sure I got to go home with the best dayt;) Who's up for another round next year?!
