We did it! We actually made it on at least one dayt every single month in 2012...some of them may have been slightly changed from the original plan, but dayts were had nonetheless!
Seven years ago I was lucky enough to get asked out on a date by this hottie I saw at church, but didn't really know yet;) We went on our first date of many on December 16, 2005. For our December dayt this year we "re-enacted" our first date. There were some obvious variations to the original, but for the most part we kept it pretty true. For our first date we went out to dinner at Red Robin. The plan had been to see a movie afterward, but we sat in the restaurant talking for so long that we missed the movie! It was really okay that we missed it because we ended up learning a lot more about each other in that conversation than we ever would have sitting in a movie.
I have to say that this was one of my favorite dayts of the year since it was also a little nostalgic. The best part was that even though it was our "first date" we got to home together:) After our real first date I knew that there was something special about the man I know get to proudly call my husband, but I didn't know it as love...yet. I am so lucky to have Andrew as my husband for eternity and I consider myself one of the luckiest girls on earth that I said yes when he asked me out on that first date!
As another year comes to a close I am more excited than ever to start the next year's adventures--we have a trip to Seattle, some pretty cool parties, and a lot more planned for 2013! Getting to date my best friend for the rest of my life is so awesome!!

Awesome!!! I love the nostalgic date. That is sweet.
(At least you went to a cool place for your first date. Kevin and I were freshmen college students so our most popular hangout was Denny's since it was close and cheap. Over the last few years, we've tried to go for the nostalgia, but we find that we don't really like Denny's much any more! ha)
