So the other night when it "snowed" I saw none of it, so this is exciting, even though it isn't sicking yet. I told Andrew that I would take some pictures of it for him, if there is ever anything to take a picture of! He would freeze his buns off if he came home today. They think it is cold over there when it gets down to the 70s. I think when he gets home I will finally win the thermostat battle, at least until he adjusts back to Oregon temps! He is so funny about that, he reminds me of my dad "put on a sweatshirt, get a blanket, put some socks on, etc." I do not think I should have to bundle up just to be comfortable in my own home, and he doesn't want to have to pay to be warm.
We started dating December 16, 2005. I think the first time he invited me to his apartment to watch a movie was in January. (Don't worry, as my friends and I say all 4 feet were on the floor at all times!) I swear to you that I could see my breath just sitting in his living room because he hadn't turned the heat on yet that winter. I am laughing to myself as I write this because I remember how irritated I was getting. I didn't want to offend him, but I was freezing! I finally, through chattering teeth asked him if the heater was broken or what. He felt so bad and turned it all the way up just for me. He is so sweet. His sweetness continues...
He knows how much I miss him and he feels bad that he doesn't do more for me while he is away. So, this week when I came home from work on Tuesday there was a surprise on the front porch for me. He sent me a pajama-gram. He is so sweet! (Here is the link for their website in case you feel the need to drop a hint to your husband or to pamper a friend http://www.pajamagram.com/) I love this man with all my heart and I have never been happier than I am with him. I cannot wait for him to come home, mostly because I know he will have to do a lot of things with and for me to make up for all this lost time!

Wasn't the snow fun we went and got our tree in it. I sometimes leave the door open just so dad will get mad because he's such a nut about it - remember he does not turn on the heat until Novemeber and even then he says maybe we should wait longer. I guess I shouln't tease him. Love ya!
The story about you going to his apartment for the first time and freezing...too funny! What a sweet husband to send you a pajamagram. Cute idea for a gift. And yes...your husband is a cutie (not that I was looking at another woman's husband or anything! ;)
I love hearing you gush about your man! It's so sweet! And I will just say that he is very photogenic!
I love the pajamagram idea! I always hear about them when I listen to Dr. Laura:) I'm glad you can turn your heat up when you want to, and I've heard your dad get mad at the kids for leaving the door open, maybe it was really your mom the whole time. She's such a trouble maker!:)
