Can we get that power too?

The boys as usual are keeping me on my toes with their imaginations and questions. Last Sunday we went to my sister Ashleigh's for a BBQ and to celebrate the summer birthdays. While there the boys got it in their heads that they had super powers. Adrian could apparently produce fire power from his hands while Luke was working on developing all powers. The boys told us that as mom and dad we have all the powers (because we are old). The whole way home they were discussing their powers and the proper uses of them. They also were paying close attention to "Darth Vader" who was apparently following us home and Luke was sitting on Luke Skywalker's lap while Adrian was sitting on Mace Windu's lap (I don't know if I spelled that right...) They also kept asking us if we believed that they had powers because Hayden doesn't. They also decided that the next day at grandma's house they did not want to play with Hayden because she didn't believe they had powers. The best part of the whole thing was that on Monday our FHE lesson was on the plan of happiness. I am not sure how it came about, but at one point the boys were completely fascinated with the fact that someone had the power to create the earth and the heavens. They asked what kind of power that was called. I told them the power of the Priesthood was the power that God has. Their eyes got big and they asked if they could get that power too? I told them someday if they lived their lives the right way, etc. to which they asked, no we mean how old do we have to be to get that power? It was so cute! Especially because then they realized that their dad has the priesthood. They were in awe of that, we did try to explain that it was not quite the same as God's priesthood, but they didn't care. Their dad at that moment was more powerful and impressive than any Star Wars character or super hero--and that is the way that it should be.
