Top o' the mornin' to ya!
Jonathan is officially in trouble. I have been trying to get him to roll over for weeks now...he almost gets there and then his stubborn self just flips right to his back and gives me that look like "I know what you want me to do and I don't like being on my stomach, so there!" Well, you can imagine my disgust when yesterday I had to work and I got a text from my mom at lunch that said "Jonathan rolled over:)!!!" (as a side-note, it takes a lot for my mom to text...probably took a good few minutes for that one...so obviously this act was deemed worthy of the effort!) I was so upset:( This little stinker is a roller for someone other than me. When I called my mom about it she said "Oh, he hasn't done that for you yet?" I know she knew that and she was just rubbing it in that he did it for Grandma first:)
So of course last night I had him on the floor for at least an hour playing with him trying to get him to do it and he wouldn't. Stinker! Little Jack Jack is officially reprimanded...lol. Maybe today will be the day?
Btw...Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!

I can just hear the tone of your mom's voice when she was rubbing it in:)
When my Mom and sister watched Hayden when she was a baby I had a rule that every time she did something, I had to see it first. Nobody was allowed to tell me when she did a new trick when she was with them.
My sister watched Ellie for me when I had to go back to work. I told her that Ellie needed to do things at home before she did them anywhere else. So my sister would see Ellie trying to roll over and she would go grab her and roll her over. Once Ellie did stuff at home I would tell my sister that Ellie was allowed to do it at her house now. It's funny yet sad the little things we do.
That is the wonderful thing about being grandma - sometimes I get to see things first:) Love you for the all the wonderful things you do as a mother -
