What do you do when you find your 3 year old happily pretending to cut his toys in half with a real knife and cutting board? He was so focused and determined at this moment and I have no idea why! I wouldn't worry. When our kids t are home with us all day and watch everything we do, they want to do what were doing. Jonathan has probably seen you use your knife and cutting board a million times and now he wants to be like mom. Grabbing his favorite toy was probably the first thing that came to his mind. This kind of thing will happen more often before he understands what he is doing scares you. This is a phase.
Wow! But I agree with Rachel. He's probably just seen you do stuff like that a million times. Or maybe just read a lot if Andrew's books?? Anything on surgery?
